Realize that holidays give the two of you a chance to discuss how your family will handle both the differences and similarities in your backgrounds.3 Be proud of your cultural traditions and work together to create ways to celebrate them that will be meaningful to you both.

Research: Suggests that interracial couples are more likely to be dehumanized than same-race couples.. people tend to exhibit more antisocial behavior and are more likely to use aggression and even violence toward dehumanized targets.
